Increased SOX4 expression often inhibits apoptosis and increases cell invasion and metastasis, and drug resistance in most tumors, such as oral squamous cell carcinoma [17], lung cancer [18], breast cancer [19], gastric cancer [20], hepatocellular carcinoma [21], colorectal cancer [22], endometrial cancer [23], bladder cancer [11], and prostate cancer [24]. Here, SOX4 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
