Interestingly, we found that the expression levels of MMP2 and MMP9 were higher in samples with SCUBE3 strong staining (Fig. 2B a–c), while the expression levels of MMP2 and MMP9 were relatively low in samples with SCUBE3 weak staining (Fig. 2B d–f), indicating that the expression of SCUBE3 was positively correlated with the expression of MMP2 and MMP9 in breast cancer, suggesting that SCUBE3 may be closely related to the development and progression of cancer.
