Patients using biguanides improved less LF and LF/HF after exercise training (0.04, 0.01 to 0.06, p = 0.008 and 0.04, 0.01 to 0.06, p = 0.009, respectively), as well as those using calcium channel blockers and ACE inhibitors (0.08, 0.004 to 0.15, p = 0.042 and 0.01, 0.001 to 0.03, p = 0.043 both for LF/HF, respectively), whereas users of beta blockers had a greater increase in TP (0.14, 0.02 to 0.25, p = 0.028) (Fig 4). This evidence concerns the gene ACE and hydrops fetalis.
