The BMI, incidence of LV aneurysm, smoking, incidence of CHD, and the levels of albumin (ALB), high density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglycerides (TG) were significantly lower in the non-surviving group, whereas the incidence of dilated cardiomyopathy, white blood cell (WBC), neutrophil and monocyte counts and Log BNP level were significantly higher. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and dilated cardiomyopathy.
