NPPB and dilated cardiomyopathy: The BMI, incidence of LV aneurysm, smoking, incidence of CHD, and the levels of albumin (ALB), high density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglycerides (TG) were significantly lower in the non-surviving group, whereas the incidence of dilated cardiomyopathy, white blood cell (WBC), neutrophil and monocyte counts and Log BNP level were significantly higher.
