Consistent with previous studies, our study found that ABCC5 binds to CDK1 and stably upregulates CDK1 protein levels by inhibiting its ubiquitination-mediated degradation, which in turn activates CDK1-mediated phosphorylation of AR Ser81, promoting the proliferation and invasive capacity of prostate cancer cells and the development of resistance to enzalutamide. The gene discussed is AR; the disease is Familial prostate cancer.
