For the first time, this study found that SOX2OT may be an important regulator of SOX5 in CRC, SOX2OT can reduce the inhibitory effect of miR-194-5p on SOX5 through sponge adsorption of miR-194-5p, thus promoting the proliferation, migration and invasion of CRC cells, further research with the aim of exploring the underlying mechanisms is recommended. This evidence concerns the gene SOX5 and colorectal carcinoma.
