For the first time, this study found that SOX2OT may be an important regulator of SOX5 in CRC, SOX2OT can reduce the inhibitory effect of miR-194-5p on SOX5 through sponge adsorption of miR-194-5p, thus promoting the proliferation, migration and invasion of CRC cells, further research with the aim of exploring the underlying mechanisms is recommended. This evidence concerns the gene SOX2-OT and colorectal carcinoma.
