There were other significant associations between specific probes and survival; one of five probes of PRKACB, one of three probes for PRKAR1A and one of two probes for PPP1CBPRKACB, PRKAR1A and PPP1CB have multiple splice variants, and the observation that not all probes are associated with survival, may indicate that certain transcripts are more important in breast cancer and warrants further investigation. This evidence concerns the gene PPP1CB and breast carcinoma.
