By using qRT-PCR and western blotting assay, we detected significant decreases in mRNA and protein levels of METTL13 in ccRCC tissues compared to normal adjacent tissues as well as a negative relevance between METTL13 expression and malignancy grades of ccRCC via immunohistochemistry. The gene discussed is METTL13; the disease is nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
