Many studies have showed that lymphopenia is common in patients with COVID-19 [6, 7, 13, 15–17]; increased CRP levels are often reported in recent studies about COVID-19 [7, 15, 17]; several studies have reported hyperglycemia in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection [7, 19]; decreased ALB, increased AST, and increased LDH levels are also found in patients with COVID-19 [6, 7, 13, 20]. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and COVID-19.
