In pulmonary fibrosis, nagilactone D, a dinorditerpenoid derived from Podocarpus nagi, attenuated the TGF-β1-induced expression of collagen I, collagen III, and fibronectin in human pulmonary fibroblasts and suppressed the phosphorylation of Smad2 [40]. This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and pulmonary fibrosis.
