In the present study, galangin reduced the phosphorylated JAK2 and STAT3 in MGC 803 cells at 12 h, and the inhibitory effect of galangin on cell viability of MGC 803 cells was counteracted by STAT3 overexpression, indicating galangin inhibited gastric cancer in a STAT3-dependent manner. Here, JAK2 is linked to gastric cancer.
