The low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1B (LRP1B), which encoding endocytic LDL-family receptor, among the top 10 significantly mutated genes in human cancer, has been demonstrated associated with high tumor mutation burden and reported to be a biomarker indicating prolonged survival in melanoma patients and non-small-cell lung cancer patients receiving immunotherapies16,17, was found frequently mutated in SCLC, and might also serve as a biomarker to predict response to immune therapies in SCLC. This evidence concerns the gene LRP1B and cancer.
