In univariate analysis, older age, higher MELD score, higherCLIF ACLF score, presence of hepatocellular carcinoma, and multiple laboratoryabnormalities (higher serum creatinine, higher serum albumin afterresuscitation, and higher total bilirubin) were associated with death by 90 days(P < 0.05 for all). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and hepatocellular carcinoma.
