The depletion of AP4E1 or CHMP4C had no significant effect on DNA replication compared to the negative control, with a 1,000-fold increase in DNA over the course of infection, indicating that despite some reduction in very early events of virus infection, the depletion of these factors had little effect on genome replication (Fig. 3D, 24 h).
