In our study, univariate analysis showed that group A had significantly lower albumin levels than group B (3.7 ± 0.5 vs 4.1 ± 0.4, p < 0.001), but multivariate analysis did not demonstrate lower albumin levels to be an independent relevant factor for group A. The results of the univariate analysis revealed that the overestimation of eGFR in group A was attributable to the effects of hypoalbuminemia. Here, ALB is linked to Hypoalbuminemia.
