KEGG pathway analysis demonstrated that inflammatory cytokines may increase the risk of SSD, as evidenced by the enrichment of ‘rheumatoid arthritis’, ‘serotonergic synapse’, ‘human T-cell leukemia virus 1 infection’, ‘complement and coagulation cascades’, ‘dopaminergic synapse’, ‘systemic lupus erythematosus’, ‘autoimmune thyroid disease’, ‘IL-17 signaling pathway’, ‘chemokine signaling pathway’ and ‘Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus infection’. Here, IL17A is linked to Herpesviridae infectious disease.
