None of the three prescribing cascades investigated were common: bladder anticholinergics following cholinesterase inhibitors with 60 cases (0.2% of cohort), Parkinson’s disease medication following metoclopramide with 11 cases (0.04% of cohort), and any diuretic following CCB with 289 cases (1.0% of cohort) over the 5 years of study.
