The age-standardised incidence rates of EGFR mutation-positive NSCLC were close to or higher than those of many common cancers in New Zealand, such as cancers of stomach (5.3 cases per 100,000 population), brain (5.4), thyroid (5.8), cervix (6.1), ovary (6.6), testis (7.5), kidney (7.9), and leukaemia (10.2) based on 2017 diagnoses [2]. Here, EGFR is linked to gastric cancer.
