In patients with more severe ischemic clinical events, grouped as a transient ischemic attack (TIA) and minor stroke (MS), the mean expression level of AMPA-type glutamate receptors GRIA1 and GRIA2 was lower than in individuals with less severe adverse vascular symptoms (amaurosis fugax, AF) or without reported symptoms. This evidence concerns the gene GRIA1 and myeloid sarcoma.
