Four of them, CDIN1 (chr15), LINGO1 (chr15), LINC01184 (chr5), and LOC105369911 (chr12), lie within reported GWAS loci related to BMI, body height, and obesity and are located on different chromosomes from rs12040085 [44–47]. This evidence concerns the gene CDIN1 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
