Here, we provided miR-595 as a new epigenetic regulator of SEMA4D; In addition, SEMA4D downregulation mediated by circ_NRIP1 knockdown and/or miR-595 overexpression was hidden in the inactivation of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway; restoring SEMA4D could attenuate the suppression on PI3K/AKT signal, which was analogous to previous finding in bladder cancer cells [38].
