For instance, we can produce a well-performing signature for TP53 variants in multiple cancer cohorts including melanoma (67 mutated samples in TCGA-SKCM; AUC = 0.909), bladder cancer (200 muts in TCGA-BLCA; AUC = 0.886), and lung adenocarcinoma (264 muts in TCGA-LUAD; AUC = 0.885) in addition to the signature found in luminal A breast cancer already described above.
