The binary logistic regression analyses showed that only RANTES was associated with periodontitis (RANTES p = .049, OR 1.001, 95% CI 1.000–1.002), but not the other cytokines analyzed (IL‐1β p = .164, IL‐4 p = .384, IL‐6 p = .273, IL‐10 p = .275, IL‐17A p = .588, MCP‐1 p = .066, TNFα p = .593, IFN‐γ p = .772 and eotaxin p = .529). The gene discussed is IL10; the disease is periodontitis.
