In OGI group, 7 of 7 (100%) eyes presented intravitreal proliferation, while in OGI treated with Ranibizumab or Conbercept, the number of eyes with intravitreal proliferation decreased to 5 of 7 (71.4%) and 4 of 7 (57.1%), respectively, indicating an inhibitory effect of anti-VEGF agents on developing intravitreal proliferation after ocular trauma. The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is injury.
