Based on single-cell expression levels of genes commonly used as markers for immunohistochemistry-based NSCLC classification, namely NAPSA, TTF-1 (NKX2-1) for lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), and TP63, CK5 (KRT5) for lung squamous carcinoma (LUSC), subtype classifications aligned well with the histopathological classifications (Fig. S2).
