In the Gene Expression across Normal and Tumor tissue (GENT) database (which uses GEO data), whose resources were based on GPL570 clinical data from 29 cancer types of GEO database, which was different from GEPIA and UALCAN database, PPM1G expression levels were found to be upregulated in various cancers, including bladder cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, ovarian cancer, and testicular cancer (Figure 1C).
