RALA and glioblastoma: Indeed, abnormal protein prenylation has been attributed in the progression of numerous cancer types including prenylation of Ras and Rho which has been implicated in gliomas [49]. However, it would be prudent to conduct further studies where other small GTPase variants are utilised to elucidate the full extent of the anticancer effects of RALA/ALN NPs in GBM.
