ZC3H4 and silicosis: ZC3H4 (Zinc Finger CCCH‐Type Containing 4), responsible for epithelial to mesenchymal transition and inflammation activation in pulmonary macrophages during silicosis (Jiang et al., 2019; Yang et al., 2018), was the only gene with somatic mutations detected in two samples, while each of the other genes had a mutation detected in only one sample (Figure 3).
