Combined the data from different databases, the Fam20C expression in cancers was found significantly elevated, particularly in central nervous system (CNS) cancers, breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CESC), colorectal cancer, esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), lymphoma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), lung cancer, pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD) and thyroid carcinoma (THCA). This evidence concerns the gene FAM20C and prostate adenocarcinoma.
