In addition to normal immortalized cells (Fig. 1c), TGFβ induced MIR100HG expression with cell-type-specific kinetics in A549 lung adenocarcinoma, PC3U prostate carcinoma, and HuCCT1 cholangiocarcinoma cells (Fig. 1d–f), and in pancreatic and lung adenocarcinoma cell line cohorts of the transcriptomic datasets GSE23952 [13] and GSE114761 [14] (Supplementary Fig. S1). This evidence concerns the gene MIR100HG and prostate carcinoma.
