Similarly, a variant in chromosome 2 at position 104,690,808 is located in the intronic region of the noncoding RNA gene LINC01965, which GWASs have associated with Alzheimer’s Disease and ADHD; these disorders share clinical features with ASD and are consequently likely to possess similar underlying genetic pathways [24–26]. Here, LINC01965 is linked to early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
