According to the PrognoScan database, the high expression of PERK was associated with a poor prognosis in brain cancer (shorter OS, p = 0.003) and soft tissue cancer (shorter DRFS, p = 0.008) and related to a favorable prognosis in lung cancer (longer OS and RFS, p < 0.05, Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene EIF2AK3 and lung carcinoma.
