To elucidate the potential clinical significance of SH2B3 in glioma, we first examined the message RNA expression pattern of SH2B3 in TCGA data set and found that SH2B3 was dramatically and highly expressed in GBM (WHO grade IV) compared with glioma (WHO grades II and III) (Figure 1A).
