In summary, in CRC, the lncRNA CASC11 acts not only as a tumour promoter that binds to related proteins and activates the Wnt/β-catenin pathway but also as a sponge of miR-646 and miR-381-3p to upregulate RAB11FIP2 and regulate the PI3K/AKT pathway, thus promoting CRC progression. Here, CASC11 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
