In the work published by our team a few months ago, we explored a potential role for TET2 in the pathogenesis of PD for the first time and found that the downregulation of the TET2 significantly attenuated cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells via weakening the activity of CDKN2A in MPP+-induced SH-SY5Y cells. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and Parkinson disease.
