Overall, our study verified that during states of excessive oxidative stress, the PIK3CA/AKT1/NFE2L2/KEAP1 and PIK3CA/AKT1/BDNF/NTRK2 signaling pathways are suppressed, which induced OB rats to exhibit phenotypic behaviors of depression.
