Further multivariable Cox regression analysis of the seven mRNAs found only five key mRNAs, including those for cornichon family AMPA receptor auxiliary protein 4 (CNIH4), SRY‐box transcription factor 4 (SOX4), secreted phosphoprotein 1 (SPP1), sorbin and SH3 domain containing 2 (SORBS2), and C‐C motif chemokine ligand 19 (CCL19) to be the most significant mRNAs associated with survival of HCC patients. The gene discussed is CNIH4; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
