Next, to determine the association between Casp8 expression and the prognosis of cancer patients, we performed Kaplan‐Meier survival analyses and found that low Casp8 expression was correlated with worse overall survival of patients with skin melanoma, breast cancer, rectal adenocarcinoma, and ovarian carcinoma based on the data obtained from TCGA database (Figure 6G, Figure S4C). This evidence concerns the gene CASP8 and cutaneous melanoma.
