Our data suggested that AKR1C1 (p < 0.0001; Figure 8A), DPP4 (p < 0.0001; Figure 8B), GPX4 (p = 0.0001; Figure 8C), GSS (p < 0.0001; Figure 8D), HMGCR (p < 0.0001; Figure 8E), TFRC (p < 0.0001; Figure 8F), SQLE (p = 0.0004; Figure 8G), and PGD (p = 0.0005; Figure 8H) were all significantly highly expressed in thyroid cancer tissues compared to normal tissues. The gene discussed is HMGCR; the disease is thyroid gland carcinoma.
