To this end, the in vivo regulation of GATA3, a cellular Th2 lineage marker for miR-135a has been used in correcting the Th1/Th2 imbalance in acute allergic rhinitis (Luo et al., 2014), and is thus proposed as a therapeutic agent for intervention of mast cell and allergen induced inflammation (Deng et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene GATA3 and allergic rhinitis.
