HSF1 and ischemia: The reactome pathway analysis of the ischemia-associated ncAA-containing proteins also showed that bladder ischemia provoked differential (post-translational) modifications of the proteins involved in HSF1-dependent transactivation pathway, including crystallin, heat shock protein 90 alpha family class B member 1, heat shock protein 90 alpha class A member 1 and heat shock protein family A (HSP70) member 8, suggesting a cellular stress response to the compromised energy homeostasis conditions.
