Moreover, expression of SPINK2 and CDCP1 were higher in pediatric AML with NUP98/NSD1 in comparison to those with NUP98/KMD5A (Figure 5), suggesting that the differential expression of this gene can contribute to the higher primary chemoresistance observed in NUP98/NSD1 positive patients.
