NSD1 and acute myeloid leukemia: Some of the most frequent NUP98 fusion partners include HOX family members (HOXA7 [t 7;11], HOXA9 [t 7;11], HOXA10 [t 7;11], HOXD13 [t 2;11]); while non-HOX gene fusion products involve MLLT10, DDX10 (inv 11), KDMA5 (JARID1A, t 11;21) and NSD1 (t 5;11), which is the most common fusion oncoprotein in pediatric AML.
