Thus, the herein presented co-expression of CSC markers CD133 and CD44, as well as the expression of Nestin in the novel BKZ-4, -5, -6, -7, -8, and -9 cell populations, strongly suggests their LCSC-like character and represents these as promising new in vitro models for studying NSCLC-derived stem cells.
