Stratifying the tumor samples by CD44 expression into low and high expressed groups, Kaplan–Meier analyses revealed that ITIH5 expression tend (p = 0.059) to predict a longer RFS (ΔRFS: 40.6 months) in bladder cancer with strong CD44 expression (Figure 2C), while its expression completely missed significance in CD44-low expressed tumors (Figure 2D). Here, CD44 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
