CDK5 and glioblastoma: To validate the impact of DYRK1A inhibition on CDK5 pathway activity, we used the same genetic and pharmacological approach to inhibit DYRK1A as in our proteomic study [17], i.e., DOX-inducible DYRK1A knockdown and ALGERNON-mediated inhibition of DYRK1A activity in serum-grown differentiated U251 glioblastoma cells.
