CD4 and Crohn disease: Healthy-derived ASCs were unable to activate CD4+ T-lymphocytes, whereas Crohn’s disease-derived ASCs increased CD4+ T-cells proliferation by approximately 3%, which was associated with an increase in IL-2 (3.325 pg/mL vs. 9.615 pg/mL, respectively), a cytokine released by activated CD4+ T-cells.
