In this study, ampelopsin effectively downregulated the AKT and NF-κB signaling, but not ERK1/2, in HL60 AML and K562 CML cells, suggesting that the inhibitory effect of ampelopsin on leukemia cell growth may be involved in the blockade of AKT and NF-κB signaling pathways. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is leukemia.
