An analysis of the immune system response with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), with the complication occurring 2–4 weeks after infection or contact with SARS-CoV-2, indicates that neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, are associated with interleukin18 (IL18) and IL16 activation; myeloid chemotaxis; and activation of lymphocytes, monocytes, and natural killer cells [22]. This evidence concerns the gene IL16 and infection.
