These include (i) signal peptidase complex catalytic sub-unit SEC11 (SEC11A), which contributes to malignant progression of gastric cancer; (ii) cell division cycle-associated protein 3 (CDCA3) that is associated with cell cycle progression; (iii) nuclear pore complex protein Nup107 (NUP107) localized to kinetochores in mitosis, which is important for chromosome alignment and segregation and (iv) calcium and integrin-binding protein1 (CIB1), a protein implicated in cell survival, proliferation and angiogenesis, which is up-regulated in several cancers [49]. This evidence concerns the gene NUP107 and gastric cancer.
