After AML cell treatment with antidiabetic drug and oxidative phosphorylation inhibitor metformin at 10 mM concentration and treatment with various concentrations of MCL-1 inhibitor S63845 (25–2000 nM), as well as after their combined treatments, cell viability (Figure 1a) and proliferation (see Figure S1 in Appendix No. 1, Supplementary Materials) were assessed using the trypan blue exclusion test. This evidence concerns the gene MCL1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
